Hand carved set of Daikoku.  Diakoku is one of the Seven Lucky Gods (shichifukujin), often depicted with Ebisu in a carving and in paintings, as they are considered symbols of prosperity and good fortune.  Daikoku, the God of Wealth and Harvest, usually wears a hood and stands on a bale of rice carrying a large sack full of treasure slung over his shoulder and holding a small magic mallet.  Daikoku is also the deity of the kitchen and a provider of food.
